Why book a course with us...

Our courses are becoming ever more popular. Below are some of the reasons why individuals and companies book with us and some frequently asked questions...

1. What do I need to bring with me?

To come on one of our courses, you just need to bring yourself. On our interior design courses, all course materials are provided for you and you can take away anything you make. On our CAD course, we provide the computers and software to train you.
"Thank you very much for yesterday. We both really enjoyed ourselves at the same time as learning plenty. You made it very interesting and enjoyable, and we would recommend anyone with an interest in interior design to give the workshop a go, it will definitley give you loads of ideas and inspiration."

Gemma & Nicola, South Wales

Thank you so much for an excellent course. I really enjoyed it, it made me focus and I believe i achieved some good results by the end. My kitchen/sitting area has been much improved through some good accessories, and I have made a great wall hanging - I am sure as a direct result of the course.

My husband liked the mood boards and is in agreement of all the changes I suggested! Amazing! Thank you for inspiring me, it was a great course.

Fiona Murphy, Plymouth

'My daughter was delighted with the 3 day CAD course she received. Lottie found it to be inspirational and interesting. The tutor commitment was outstanding, always on time and lessons very well planned to suit individual needs. Lottie has found the training invaluable in her work. I have no hesitation in recommending Interior Design & CAD Workshops to any future aspiring designers.'

Chris Jordan, Tetbury

“This course has been a valuable help in CAD design. Gail has got the ability and calmness to guide you through all the stages and before you know where you are you are producing an amazing layout. I recommend this course highly, its rare that you find someone that can deliver exactly what you need.”

Simon Cooper, Bath Spa University

"I went on Gail's Total Interior Designer course with funding from the Train to Gain initiative. Gail's personal and friendly approach made learning a pleasure.

Gail was fantastic at making the subject matter relevant to my work. I was able to do 3D drawings in CAD which is an invaluable skill in both the pitching and delivery stages of my event work.

Clients have been able to visualise their events much more clearly and I have found that possessing this skill has helped give me a competitive advantage in my industry.

I cannot recomend Gail highly enough and I hope to continue using her services for top up courses."

Cathy Shey, Shreyas Decor, Bristol

"As a photoshop novice I contacted Gail to first discuss what I wanted and hoped to achieve with this package. She then devised a simple but comprehensive introduction, then we worked through some practical examples on the day. As it was one to one the flexibility and focus on my requirements was spot on and I left feeling that I could tackle simple projects on my own. "

We have many students and small companies who have an older version of AutoCAD but have never got around to learning how to use it. We can train you on your version at your offices or place of work and advise you on when you may need to upgrade as your current version may well last you for quite a number of years.

14. I'm an interior designer and need to take on more work...

if you are still drawing by hand and making a marquette for your clients, this can take ages and you may find yourself working long hours for next to nothing! It also means you cannot take on any more work and be more productive. Learning CAD will increase you productivity so much, you should be able to take on more projects and earn more. Not all versions of CAD are expensive and sometimes there is funding for software depending on where you are based.
